Very Disappointing

Pros:	iphone fits well in the dock even with my rubber case.
Cons:	Does not work in Windows XP USB headphone jack does not allow volume control

I am very disappointed with this cradle. I was excited about the possibility of using this to charge, sync, and use the output jack without having to take the case off my iphone. To my shock and horror, none of these really work the way I was expecting.

The worst infraction(design flaw) is the output jack kills the volume control on the phone and puts out the sound at full volume. Even if there is an external volume control the sound is totally distorted and sounds horrible.

Also the USB connection does not work with with my Windows XP computer. The device is not recognized (not even as a camera as it the iphone ususally is), and will not sync or charge!

Why did I just spend $40 on a specialized cradle that doesnt do anything it is supposed to? Maybe this one is defective, but I dont think so...
